forget the subtitles, in fact i think they added to the, what the hell is happening aspect of the film. shot very well, in reallity TV kind of way, which makes you feel apart of it more/ believable. good non hollywood acting, which was again a different slant. suspence was great and a good few jumps. borrows a little from other movies, then again what doesn't. over all a very good film, would watch it again.
Not too shabby

I enjoyed the film regardless of subtitles. It's quite like the blair witch but set in suburbia. Everyone has lived in an apartment block at some point so the reality hits you ten fold. Also the way the authorities treat the tenants is very beliveable, which adds to the already growing terror.... i recommend you watch this film guys...
Must see for horror fans

The shooting style of Rec has been compared to the Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield but the similarities end there. This is a great, compelling horror film. The subtitles let you down a little with the exposition at the end of the film but don't be put off. See it before Hollywood dumbs it down in their version 'Quarantine'

i perhaps should have read the other reviews about this one... i didnt realise that this movie is in spanish and subtitled throughout. however, i thought at times this actually added to the film and the tension and chaos of the film. its not my usual type of film but i did enjoy it. i even jumped in the chair a few times!
Worth watching
